Job Summary Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects, guiding them through banking solutions and ensuring a seamless, personal experience. Serve as a lobby leader, managing client conversations and recommending banking channels. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects. Identify customer needs and provide advice and guidance regarding financial solutions. Collaborate within the branch and with BMO partners to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve business objectives. Identify referral opportunities to grow the customer’s relationship beyond personal banking. Welcome and guide customers at the branch lobby, offering advice on digital and self‑serve options. Assist in client conversations about banking services to recommend alternative channels and provide personal banking and investment advice. Meet transaction‑based customer needs with seamless execution. Review customer profiles and engage in needs‑based conversations to identify opportunities and address everyday banking and credit card needs. Support branch business results and the overall customer experience. Support operational activities such as inventory management, escalated service requests, follow‑up on customer applications, filing, opening and closing activities. Probe to understand customer needs and integrate marketing promotions and programs into conversations. Organize work information to ensure accuracy and completeness. Take initiative to find creative approaches that personalize each customer experience. Contribute to ongoing improvement of the overall customer experience. Work at multiple branches or through various channels as market needs dictate; schedule may vary in days, hours and shifts. Follow risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy. Keep current with financial services marketplace, legal and regulatory environment, and uphold ethical standards. Maintain knowledge of personal banking products and integrate them into conversations. Identify and report suspicious patterns related to money laundering. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements for the jurisdiction. Complete complex and diverse tasks within rules and limits, analyze issues, determine next steps and escalate as required. Qualifications Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience or certification in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Canada only: Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months) – if applicable to jurisdiction. Confidence and experience using social media, tablets, smartphones and online tools. Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience. Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions for referrals. Passionate commitment to helping customers and a focus on results. Good collaboration and team skills. Good analytical and problem‑solving skills. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $41,714.00 – $50,500.00 (salaried; part‑time roles prorated).
