About This Role The Nurse Education Manager – Trauma & Clinical Certifications is responsible for managing, administering, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating educational activities, focusing on trauma and emergency certification programs. Highlights Pay: $115,494 - $173,241 Annually Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: HSO American Heart Association Training Center - MSH Schedule: Part-Time, Day Shift What You'll Do Oversee the development and implementation of the certification course budget. Maintain, review, and evaluate educational record-keeping and reporting systems for certification programs. Conduct and participate in meetings. Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and communication techniques necessary to provide care. Observe established MSHS mandatory educational requirements. Review and formulate departmental and program objectives. Participate in the management of external consulting services. Act as a management representative on designated committees. Participate in the formulation of departmental policies and procedures. Evaluate staff competencies and compliance with patient care and unit documentation requirements. Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's degree in Nursing or related Healthcare field preferred; Master's in Nursing Education strongly preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of emergency or trauma nursing experience preferred. Prior experience coordinating or teaching AHA programs, TNCC, ATLS, ENPC, or similar certification courses required. Licenses & Certifications: Licensed as a Registered Nurse with current registration in New York State. Current TNCC Provider status required; TNCC Instructor status required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire. ATLS Coordinator status highly preferred.
