Project Manager

We are working with a well-established and highly respected General Contractor that specializes in public works and educational construction throughout Southern California. Our client has earned an outstanding reputation for delivering successful ground-up school projects and maintaining long-standing relationships with school districts and public agencies. Due to continued growth and a strong backlog of work, our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in the Sherman Oaks area. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of ground-up school construction projects Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement activities Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and owners Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues impacting cost or schedule Conduct project meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders Ensure compliance with contract requirements, DSA regulations, and public works standards Track project financial performance, including forecasting and cost control Oversee project closeout activities and turnover documentation Qualifications 7-10+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction Strong experience managing Public Works construction projects DSA experience preferred Strong understanding of California public contracting and construction regulations Proven success managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
