Talent Sourcing Specialist

Talascend is currently seeking a Talent Sourcing Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Rosemont, Illinois .


Overview


This role involves developing creative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates, conducting outreach campaigns, reviewing resumes, assessing candidate fit, and supporting the hiring process to build a strong talent pipeline.


Responsibilities

• Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
• Conduct outreach campaigns through email, InMail, and other communication channels to generate candidate interest.
• Review resumes and candidate profiles against job requirements and hiring criteria.
• Assess candidate fit based on required skills, certifications, experience, and organizational needs.
• Support recruiters and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
• Create an organized pipeline of active and future candidates.
• Assist with scheduling interviews between candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and interview panels.
• Coordinate calendars and logistics to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Communicate interview details and next steps to candidates in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, candidate profiles, and market trends.
• Provide sourcing insights and talent market intelligence to support hiring strategies.
• Participate in intake meetings and recruitment planning discussions.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or talent acquisition.
• Experience sourcing technical talent (IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, etc.)
• Experience sourcing corporate and professional roles across various business functions.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced candidate search techniques.
• Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Strong resume review and candidate screening skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting agency or corporate recruiting environments.
• Familiarity with iCIMS, or similar ATS platforms.
• Understanding of current IT, cybersecurity, and technology market trends.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
