This role brings clarity, structure, and momentum to marketing work by translating strategy into actionable plans and ensuring projects are delivered on time and with excellence. This Project Manager is a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves collaborating with teams, and brings order to complex, cross-functional initiatives. You're someone who naturally builds structure, spots gaps, and helps teams move work forward more effectively.What You'll DoOwn end-to-end project management for marketing initiatives, from intake through deliveryTranslate high-level strategies into clear execution plans with defined timelines, milestones, dependencies, and ownershipPartner exceptionally well cross-functionally, collaborating with teams across Marketing and the broader organizationLead project kickoffs, run weekly status updates, and keep stakeholders aligned and informedProactively identify risks and blockers, propose solutions, and maintain momentum across projectsSupport campaign launches and key initiatives with strong operational executionMaintain strong, consistent use of tools like Asana and Airtable to ensure visibility, accountability, and alignmentContinuously evaluate and improve processes, workflows, and playbooks to increase efficiency, clarity, and team velocityWhat We're Looking For2–3 years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or a related roleProcess- and operationally minded; enjoys building structure, improving workflows, and creating scalable systemsA strong collaborator and team player who thrives in highly cross-functional environments and understands how decisions impact multiple teamsProven ability to manage complex projects end-to-end with minimal oversightComfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and fast-moving workClear, concise, and solutions-oriented communicatorHighly self-directed with a strong sense of ownership and follow-throughExperience using Asana and Airtable or similar project management toolsBonus: experience in high-growth or in-house marketing environmentsNRG Energy is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
