Responsibilities
- Lead and assist the crew in executing daily assignments and routines
- Install plant materials according to landscape design plans
- Identify and delegate tasks to enhance department productivity and profitability
- Encourage continuous learning and development among team members
- Engage in hands-on work and operate various landscaping equipment
- Plan and cultivate lawns, gardens, and other green spaces based on designs
- Install landscaping features such as rock gardens, retaining walls, and decks
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and maintain a clean job site
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Knowledge of landscape practices and procedures
- Minimum of one year experience in landscaping or a related field
- Ability to interpret landscape designs and plans
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in operating power equipment and hand tools
- Ability to enforce company policies and procedures
- Detail-oriented with multitasking and delegation skills
- Valid driver's license required.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds
- Capability to work in various weather conditions
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Must be 18 years of age or older
