Qualifications:

• Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, or equivalent
• Valid Minnesota school psychologist license (PELSB-issued)
• Commitment to equity, inclusive practices, and culturally responsive service
• Strong foundation in evidence-based assessment, intervention, and mental health support
• National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility preferred
• Experience with MTSS, consultation, and intervention support preferred
• Understanding of crisis prevention/intervention and mental health supports
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse groups
• Deep knowledge of federal/state special education laws
• Urban/multicultural school experience strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychological services for K-12 (no early childhood)
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional success
• Participate in crisis intervention and prevention initiatives
• Collaborate with staff, families, and community agencies as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Assist with compliance, assessment, and evidence-based intervention planning
