Vice President of Marketing

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead global marketing strategy for highly technical offerings serving life sciences and materials science audiences. The VP of Marketing will own lead generation performance, shape market positioning, and partner closely with senior commercial and portfolio leadership to drive pipeline growth and market awareness. The ideal candidate will bring deep B2B marketing leadership, strong command of digital demand generation, and the ability to translate complex scientific value propositions into compelling customer messaging. This is a highly cross-functional role that will work across commercial, product, and content teams to strengthen buyer engagement and support growth in a specialized technology market. Location: Cambridge, MA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $250,000 – $300,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the global lead generation quota through effective performance marketing strategies
• Collaborate with senior commercial and portfolio leaders to define strategic market approaches for life sciences and materials science products
• Map and enhance the buyer's journey, utilizing HubSpot, HighSpot, and Salesforce for tracking
• Direct the development of impactful technical content to engage pharma and biotech decision-makers
• Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to strengthen the company's position in computational chemistry

Qualifications

• 10+ years of marketing leadership experience, with 5+ years in B2B life sciences, biotech, or computational chemistry
• Proven success managing performance marketing budgets and achieving MQL/Pipeline targets
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field; MBA is an advantage
• Expertise in HubSpot, Salesforce, and digital marketing tools
• Strong digital marketing experience through search and social media channels
• Familiarity with the drug discovery life cycle and informatics platforms
• Experience in computational modeling or drug discovery informatics is a bonus
