Pay: $25-$32 Depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate TRUMPF tube laser equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload raw material and finished parts.
- Verify correct material type, size, thickness, and job requirements before production.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using appropriate measuring tools.
- Monitor cut quality and make necessary machine adjustments.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and cutting issues.
- Maintain required production rates while meeting quality standards.
- Complete production, inspection, and material documentation accurately.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Report equipment, quality, material, or production issues promptly.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Previous CNC laser or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- TRUMPF tube laser experience highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of basic dimensions and tolerances.
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to safely handle raw materials and finished parts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.
