You will be working alongside a team of talented colleagues from other markets, businesses and functions to provide you with the opportunity to take your career to the next level.As an Investment Specialist you are responsible for helping the Banker win new clients and deepen and strengthen existing client relationships through advisement on investment solutions.Job ResponsibilitiesConduct investment reviews with clients to validate the clients' current investment objectives and prepare recommendations of appropriate investment productsDevelop investment policy statements and advise on asset allocationCloses sales of complex investment productsSupport coordination of sales effort with Capital Advisors, Trust Officers and Wealth Advisors Focus on qualified purchaser clients and act as primary resource for investment communicationBuild excellent working relationships with internal clientsAdhere to internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions and code of conductProvide guidance to junior staffRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, SkillsBachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA preferredSeries 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required for position; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start dateSeven plus years' experience in Private Banking or Financial Services industryDemonstrated understanding of wealth management including, but not limited to: credit, deposits, trust and financial planningPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, SkillsIdeal candidate has prior experience providing complex investment solutions to individualsIn depth experience and/or knowledge of hedge funds, private equity and alternative investmentsAble to execute trades smoothly and seamlessly and tasked with managing brokerage activitySales experience including: profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals
