Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and engage in developing tailored treatment plans, which include pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and various pharmaceutical treatment plans.

• Ensure timeliness and compliance in all documentation and reports according to state and federal regulatory requirements.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as recommended by the clinical team for effective patient evaluation.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support strategies, contributing to holistic patient care.
\n
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring adherence to standardized practices.
\n
• Serve as a liaison with relevant service systems, governmental agencies, and community stakeholders for optimal resource connections and advocacy.
\n
• Establish and maintain communication channels to facilitate contract compliance and promote the organization’s mission throughout the community.
\n
• Foster relationships with local, state, federal, and private agencies to advocate for program development and explore potential partnerships and funding opportunities.
\n
• Seek personal and professional development opportunities through conferences, presentations, and participation in task forces or committees related to your field.

• Support the integration of the organization's mission, values, and philosophy into everyday practices.

• Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Clinic Director to support operational needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with emotional distress, substance abuse, developmental disorders, and brain injuries. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these groups is essential, as well as delivering individualized care to foster their recovery and resilience in a community setting.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required for this position.

• An independent LMHC license valid in New York State is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain comprehensive clinical records and prepare thorough reports.

Compensation and Benefits\n
