Job Overview A law firm seeks a Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Associate in Palo Alto, CA. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team addressing complex data, privacy, cybersecurity, consumer protection, and AI regulatory issues for global clients. Duties Represent clients in investigations by the FTC and state Attorneys General. Advise on data collection, usage, and compliance with global privacy laws. Develop responses to security breaches and enhance privacy policies. Implement global compliance programs. Requirements 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience with technology industries and government regulation preferred. Familiarity with FTC policy and enforcement is desirable. Education Superior academic credentials required. Certifications CIPP certification is a plus. Skills Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of computer programming, network technologies, and web technologies is beneficial.
