Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify each client’s unique mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Provide individual, group, and family therapy using a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the specific needs of clients. Engage in regular collaboration with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and enhance treatment effectiveness. Offer crisis intervention services during acute distress situations, ensuring immediate support and stabilization for clients in need. Participate in community outreach programs and educational workshops aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma within the community. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Our clinic focuses on providing trauma-informed care, addressing a wide range of mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use challenges, ensuring that all clients receive the treatment necessary for recovery and growth. Qualifications Must hold a valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist. A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are fundamental, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients and their families. Cultural competence and sensitivity towards diverse populations is crucial for effective engagement and support. Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation, are essential for managing a caseload efficiently. Preferred Experience Experience working with community health settings or non-profit organizations focused on mental health care. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and client management. A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling is preferred. Compensation and Benefits The start salary ranges from USD 70,000 to 80,000 per year, based on your experience and qualifications.
