Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific circumstances. Deliver therapeutic sessions utilizing various evidence-based modalities, offering both short-term and extended therapy solutions. Regularly monitor client progress through ongoing assessments and adapt therapeutic strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Engage in collaborative discussions with multidisciplinary team members, including medical providers, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices. Promote health behavior change strategies to empower clients dealing with mental illness and other co-occurring disorders. Patient Population / Client Focus In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily support adult clients navigating a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. You will foster a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and respect, thereby enabling clients to explore their thoughts and feelings within a safe space. The aim is to provide holistic care that addresses both mental and physical health, ensuring clients are equipped with the tools needed for success. Qualifications A Master’s degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field. Active and unrestricted state licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD or equivalent) to provide therapy independently. A reliable internet connection and a functional home office environment conducive to therapy practices. Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively, meet deadlines, and adhere to clinical documentation requirements. Commitment to ethical principles and understanding of legal obligations regarding mental health care practices. Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations, ensuring that all clients feel welcomed and understood. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health counseling role. Proficiency in telehealth technologies and virtual counseling platforms. Experience working in collaborative care settings, enhancing communication with interdisciplinary teams. Background in developing and implementing health behavior change strategies. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
