Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' emotional and psychological needs, using standardized assessment tools and interviews. Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans incorporating various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, tailoring your approach to meet the specific preferences and needs of each patient. Lead psychoeducational groups to foster community support while addressing common mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care, ensuring patients receive comprehensive support. Offer crisis intervention services to help patients navigate mental health emergencies effectively. Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources while maintaining an open and trusting therapeutic alliance. Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems. Participate in ongoing professional development, case consultations, and team meetings aimed at enhancing therapeutic practices and improving client outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus This role serves a diverse population, including individuals facing various mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. By addressing the unique needs of each patient through personalized care plans, you will play an essential role in empowering them toward recovery and improved mental well-being. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee. A strong foundation in mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches and the ability to perform comprehensive assessments is essential. Exceptional listening, communication, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families. Knowledge of ethical practices and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries in therapeutic relationships. Proficiency in electronic health record systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms. Preferred Experience At least two years of experience in delivering individual and group therapy in a mental health setting, with a demonstrated ability to adapt techniques to diverse populations. Experience in facilitating psychoeducational workshops or support groups. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and proven competency in managing acute mental health situations. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is USD $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
