Work Environment This role is designed to be remote, offering flexibility while allowing you to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds in various locations. Although our clinics operate Monday through Saturday, as a clinician, you will have the autonomy to create and manage your own schedule, allowing for a work-life balance that supports your personal and professional growth. Our dedicated management team will assist you with in-house credentialing and insurance participation, streamlining administrative tasks so that you can focus on your patients. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of individuals, families, and groups, ensuring an accurate understanding of unique situations and needs. Provide graduate-level clinical interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches tailored to individual clients’ needs. Utilize active listening and empathy to develop personalized treatment plans that promote healing and growth. Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately, maintaining ethical standards and timely completion of all necessary paperwork. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, ensuring effective communication about treatment plans and interventions during meetings, such as patient rounds. Deliver case management support to assigned patients, establishing connections with community resources and healthcare professionals to enhance comprehensive care. Patient Population / Client Focus The patients you’ll serve come from various backgrounds and face a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clinic emphasizes a community-centered approach, aiming to cater to the mental health needs of the diverse populations in Los Angeles. Your work will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes, helping them navigate through their challenges and achieve a healthier state of mind. Qualifications Must possess a valid license as either an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the State of California. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating depth in counseling practices. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. A strong commitment to ethical practices and patient confidentiality. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with colleagues. Preferred Experience Experience with specific therapeutic modalities, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Motivational Interviewing, is a plus. Previous experience in a community health clinic or outpatient setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate documentation and communication effectively. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
