About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Tax to spearhead the expansion and development of its tax function within a multi-office organization. This pivotal leadership role is focused on driving the tax practice's strategy, performance, and profitability, as well as overseeing tax service delivery, practice management, talent development, and client engagement. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to clients on complex tax matters, and will work closely with executive leadership on growth initiatives and acquisitions. A key aspect of the role is to champion technology, automation, and process improvement to enhance the client experience and ensure technical excellence, compliance, and risk management across the practice. The ideal candidate for the Head of Tax position at the company will be a CPA with a minimum of 15 years' progressive tax leadership experience, including a background in public accounting and a proven track record of managing sizable tax practices. Strong client relationship and business development skills are essential, as is the ability to lead large teams and drive organizational growth. The role requires a leader who can navigate change, scale operations, and implement best practices, and who is adept at partnering on M&A integrations and growth initiatives. The Head of Tax will have the opportunity to shape the future of a modern tax practice and must be adept at leveraging technology to achieve this.
