Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible, remote work environment, providing you with the opportunity to engage with students and families primarily through teletherapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to determine the emotional, social, and behavioral needs of students, families, and school staff.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on issues such as anxiety, depression, adjustment, grief, and trauma.
\n
• Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
\n
• Coordinate with community resources and organizations to ensure continuity of care beyond the school setting, including setting up referrals for additional services.
\n
• Offer psychoeducation to students, families, and staff regarding mental health resources, coping strategies, and available support systems.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of counseling sessions, assessments, and progress reports in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Respond to crisis situations and provide crisis intervention strategies as needed, supporting students and families during critical times.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance service delivery and improve overall student outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students from diverse backgrounds, particularly in underserved communities. You will work collaboratively with families to address the unique challenges they face, ensuring that culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate services are provided. Your work will contribute to reducing barriers in accessing mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and crisis intervention techniques.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with youth and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
