International Operations Market Director - LATAM, Orangetheory

Purpose Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City, The Bar Method, and Basecamp Fitness, is seeking an International Operations Market Director - LATAM for its Corporate Orangetheory Fitness team. In this role you will manage studio‑level economics across LATAM, execute critical business initiatives, and support franchisees to achieve performance goals. Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing market‑specific studio performance strategies, master performance & coaching, and franchisee support. Execute strategies to drive studio AUV within LATAM, ensuring membership growth and studio EBITDA targets are met. Work closely with Master franchisees to develop and implement annual business plans that meet defined regional financial goals. Advise and influence Master franchisees on critical aspects of their business operations and support teams. Liaise with global brand operation teams to bring subject matter experts on sales, fitness, technology, operations, marketing, and product. Support planning and delivery of monthly and quarterly business reviews with Masters and sub‑franchisees. Assist the Development Team with ongoing franchise support (site selection, construction, training, launch). Partner with the Global OTF Brand team to scale global programs and ensure compliance with studio performance improvement projects. Provide regional feedback to improve global best practices and brand product development. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to inform strategic decisions. Monitor and evaluate franchise location performance and provide optimization guidance. Collaborate with other Purpose Brands teams to assess OTF product performance and recommend improvements. Stay current on market trends, demographics, and cultural dynamics. Co‑work within International Purpose Brands units and teams to drive maximum growth and performance. Stakeholder and Partner Focus – commit to meeting partner needs for long‑term success. Industry Passion – genuine interest in fitness and wellness. Qualifications Fluent in Spanish and English. Minimum 3 years’ experience operating an Orangetheory Fitness studio (sales, operations, coaching). Strong knowledge of business practices, financials, and marketing fundamentals. Demonstrated ability to analyze performance, identify gaps, and recommend improvement strategies. Experience using data and performance metrics to drive business and financial outcomes. Experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority (franchise, multi‑unit, or distributed environments). 6 to 10 years’ experience managing large‑scale service operations, especially multi‑unit or unit‑level management. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Experience working in cross‑functional, matrixed organizations. Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced, performance‑driven environments. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Economics, or related field. Preferred Experience International franchise industry experience, especially in LATAM or similar markets. Experience shaping strategic direction and executing growth plans in international markets. Experience working with diverse cultures and stakeholder groups. Studio or boutique fitness experience on an international scale. Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity. In‑depth understanding of the health, wellness, and fitness industry and major stakeholders. Passion for the fitness and wellness industry. Travel Requirements This position requires a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks of international travel, including solo trips, per calendar year to existing and new development markets. Travel may occur over weekends and/or U.S. holidays. The role may require work outside normal business hours, including evenings.
