Join our Minneapolis, MN 55414 team and keep payroll running like clockwork. You’ll be the trusted point-person who makes sure every paycheck is accurate, timely, and compliant—while supporting adjacent accounting activities.

A day in this role

You start by reviewing time entries and deductions, confirming benefits changes from HR, and running pre-payroll audits. Midday, you resolve employee questions with care and confidentiality, then generate management reports. You wrap by assisting Accounting with AR/AP tasks and preparing for month- and year-end items like W-2s and 1099s.

What you’ll handle

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing for all employees with precision and on-time delivery.
• Maintain thorough employee payroll files: hours, deductions, benefits, and adjustments.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
• Create and distribute payroll and variance reports for leadership.
• Assist with annual tax documents (W-2s, 1099s) and related reconciliations.
• Monitor payroll regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Partner closely with HR to administer benefits and deductions accurately.
• Support Accounting with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and related functions.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Experience in a payroll clerk or similar capacity.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Solid organization and time-management abilities.
• Discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• UKG payroll experience preferred.
