Lead a high performing team with mix of internal and external resourcesPrimary ResponsibilitiesBridge between market/customer/strategy and execution/engineering - focus on Solution and Agile Team Defines module strategy inclusive of Team/Module Backlog - and module adoption Defines stories and ultimately accepts stories as done when complete - complies with definition of done (DoD) Key contributor to vision, roadmap, and ROI to ensure module is meeting business goals Support all aspects of the business - engineering, sales, delivery, etc. Ensure build the right way - team is aligned on understanding what is considered the "right thing" Own/Manages product development - planning, execution, release, transition to Delivery/Ops and reporting Manage the financial costs - budget, forecast, actuals and earned value Technology Alignment - across all engineering teams Defines definition of done (DoD) Speak to technical competence of the solution Steer the ART to develop the right solution Lead planning, eliminate impediments and speak on behalf of all key stakeholders to successfully deliverJob Scope and GuidelinesLead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.Participate in new business assessments and asses the business problem from data science lenses to recommend intelligent solutionBuild, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and analytics as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing, and product teams.Build and manage a Global Analytics team, hiring the right talent with skills to achieve objectives, setting clear goals and expectations, and providing ongoing coaching and development to expand skills and capabilities.Lead a high performing team with mix of internal and external resources.Understands technology and functional domains around BI, DW and Big Data environment components and applies that knowledge to the Solution Architectures and technology roadmaps.Defines and advises as required on data analytics vendor, tool selection and implementationProactively foresee, plan and lead enhancements, implementations, operations & support. Lead and own automated operations from data ingestion to data provisioning using tools. Build a knowledge base for the enterprise-wide data flows and processes around them.Manage and build in-house technical skills around various analytical tools and Big Data platforms.Define & implement measurable KPIs to gauge ROI and success of enterprise analytics initiative. - Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion.Coordinates work activities with other supervisors..Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment.Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan.Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and/or customers (internal or external).Minimum Educational BackgroundBachelors degree in math, computer science, engineering, finance, statistics, or a related technical field8+ years of professional experience and passion for working with large data sets plus deep experience in statistical analysis, advanced modeling techniques, data mining and business analysis2+ years managing and developing teams of business analysts, business intelligence engineers and/or data engineersProject management experience and ability to drive successful end-to-end project executionAbility to thrive in an environment that is tasked with providing data-driven decision support and business intelligence that is timely, accurate and actionableHands on experience with SQL, Excel, data mining, data visualization software such as TableauWhat does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)?
