Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility and convenience for both clients and staff. However, as part of our outpatient office setting in South Gate, California, we maintain a strong connection with our community. You will have access to ongoing professional support and a network of healthcare professionals dedicated to optimizing client outcomes. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling using evidence-based modalities tailored to the specific needs of clients.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough client assessments, ensuring that each plan reflects the client’s unique circumstances and challenges.

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and participate in crisis interventions, actively responding to the immediate needs of clients as situations arise.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring client information is securely handled.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care for clients.

• Use culturally sensitive practices to engage clients from diverse backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and understanding in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will provide support to a diverse population of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. We emphasize a person-centered approach, ensuring that interventions resonate with the individual’s experiences and cultural context. Qualifications\n

• A valid LPCC license issued by the state of California is required.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
