Phlebotomy FloatLabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Float to join our team in 1304 15th Street Suite 103 Santa Monica, CA 90405 covering areas around Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Playa Vista, Culver City, Westwood and Century City.Work Schedule: Able to cover hours that vary Monday - Friday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed, including some SaturdaysJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED or equivalentCalifornia state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)Preferred Qualifications:1 year or more of experience as phlebotomistCurrent or Prior experience at LabCorpAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work in fast paced / high volume work environmentsAble to pass a standardized color blindness test.Be at least 21 years of ageValid Driver's License and clean driving recordReliable transportationFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
