Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as an Occupational Therapist covering a maternity leave at an elementary school in the Anoka, MN area. This contract role spans from August 31, 2026, to April 2, 2027, providing full-time hours (37.5 per week) Monday through Friday. You’ll play a crucial role in helping students develop functional skills and succeed within the classroom environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota (MN OT license required)
• Previous experience as a school-based OT or with pediatric populations
• Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to establish rapport and adapt interventions for elementary-aged children
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress documentation, and evidence-based therapy practices
• Excellent time management and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct assessments and collaborate on individualized intervention plans
• Track and report student progress, maintaining timely and accurate documentation
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to promote inclusive, supportive learning environments
• Participate in team meetings, provide recommendations, and communicate with families regarding therapy goals and strategies
• Adapt therapy activities to meet diverse needs across the assigned caseload
