Quality Manager
Location: Mansfield, TX Onsite
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday)
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead plant-level quality operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving quality initiatives, maintaining compliance with AS9100D standards, leading quality teams, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100D and customer requirements.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Monitor quality metrics, customer satisfaction, supplier performance, and cost of poor quality.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and corporate quality standards.
- Support supplier quality activities and continuous improvement programs using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 3–5+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience leading quality teams.
- Experience in Aerospace, Medical Device, or Manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100D quality standards (Lead Auditor certification preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, FMEA, Process Capability, and other quality improvement tools.
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CSSBB, CQMgr) are highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, customer-facing, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
