COO - OPS - Institutions OperationsAdministrative Associate II (S)This position is located at Bertie Correctional Institution in Windsor, NC 27983 facility Human Resources department. This position coordinates interviews, processes hiring packages, completes tasks in Workday, assists new hires with onboarding, assists with Correctional Officer hiring, assists staff with basic pay questions, attends job fairs and hiring events. Duties performed may include but are not limited to, preparation of documents and reports, composition of memos and letters, the use of office technology, compiling records, organizing and maintaining files, posting information, greeting, referring, assisting visitors, clients, staff, and others, and photocopying. Effectively communicate with other staff and members of the general public in verbal and written form and by using existing communication systems to covey and/or obtain information, instruction and direction. Work under occasional stressful conditions in meeting deadlines. Input and comprehend computer generated data. Review completed task to ensure accuracy and integrity of information. Effectively establish, develop and maintain a filing system that allows easy access. Be able to navigate in Fiori SAP GUI and Workday. This job requires some physical effort to include walking, standing and normal office-type work. Facilities are categorized by custody levels (minimum, medium, close) and house individuals serving sentences for felony convictions.
