Job Summary A well-established, family-owned personal injury law firm in Tampa, FL is seeking a Legal Assistant. This onsite, full-time role is ideal for someone with 1 to 2 years of legal assistant, legal administrative, or law firm experience who is ready to continue learning, build confidence in personal injury law, and become a valued part of a close-knit legal team. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and case support to attorneys and legal staff in a personal injury law office. Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and other involved parties. Maintain client files, case documentation, correspondence, forms, and related legal records. Request, track, organize, and follow up on medical records, bills, and supporting documentation. Manage calendars, deadlines, appointments, reminders, and case follow-up items. Support general office administration and assist the team wherever needed to keep cases moving efficiently. Required Qualifications and Skills Support attorneys and legal staff with case management, documentation, and client communication. Request and organize medical records, bills, correspondence, and personal injury case materials. Manage calendars, deadlines, appointments, and follow-up items to support timely case progress. 1 to 2 years of legal assistant, legal administrative, or law firm experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Professional communication skills and comfort interacting with clients and third parties. Ability to manage multiple priorities, track deadlines, and follow through on pending items. Dependable, proactive, team-oriented, and willing to assist where needed. Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced Tampa law office. Positive and collaborative personality suited for a smaller office environment. Preferred Qualifications Personal injury law experience. Experience requesting and organizing medical records, bills, and insurance-related documentation. Familiarity with legal correspondence, case forms, client files, and law firm administrative procedures.
