Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $125,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Lead month end close activities and prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports. Oversee daily accounting operations including payables receivables billing reconciliations and cash related activities. Manage inventory and cost accounting functions while ensuring accurate financial reporting and controls. Support budgeting forecasting and cash flow planning to assist business decision making. Drive process improvements, audit readiness and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy. Requirements 5+ years of accounting experience with at least one year of team leadership responsibility. Demonstrate experience in manufacturing, distribution, inventory or operational accounting environments. Possess strong financial statement preparation and month end close experience. Use Excel at an advanced level and work effectively with enterprise accounting systems. Communicate effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast paced business environment. Qualifications Develop and mentor accounting staff while fostering accountability, collaboration and professional growth. Partner with accounting teams across multiple locations to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial information. Maintain strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls and compliance requirements. Apply analytical and problem solving skills to improve processes and support operational performance.
