Part Time Scan Coordinator Backup

Position Summary Part‑time position. Primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires maintaining the price file, ensuring shelf tag accuracy, and the signs for the entire store. Responsibilities Take excellent care of customers. Maintain price file, shelf tag accuracy, and store signs. Qualifications Personal Skills – Exceptional interpersonal skills; willingness to complete required training and collaborate with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales. Education/Experience – High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos (in English); write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings to customers, clients, and associates who speak only English. Mathematical Skills – Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement. Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply commonsense understanding to follow detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Completion of Company training, including new‑hire orientation, customer service network, safety, scanning coordinator technical skills training, and Scanning Coordinator certification. Physical Demands – Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift or move up to 25 pounds and reach 6‑72 inches; vision requirements: close vision, color, and depth perception. Work Environment – Occasionally exposed to wet, hot, or cold conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals; moderate noise level.
