Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: Roanoke, VA

Schedule: Full-Time

Shifts: Days, Nights, Mixed & Evenings Rotating Weekends

What You'll Do

As an ER RN you will triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages across the full acuity spectrum — from minor injuries to critically ill presentations, manage multiple cases simultaneously while prioritizing patient needs based on acuity levels, maintain composure and professionalism under pressure at all times, collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate effective follow-up care and necessary referrals, document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in accordance with organizational policy, and coordinate seamlessly with physicians and other hospital departments while remaining patient-focused and safety-aware every moment of every shift.

What You'll Need

• Active Virginia RN license or multi-state compact RN license with VA eligibility — required
• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing — required |
• BSN preferred
• AHA BLS certification — required
• 1 year of ER experience in an acute care setting — considered
• Med/Surg candidates considered for night shift cross-training
