Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical

Schedule: 12-hour Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Active RN license in state or Compact license
• 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical
• Experience with high acuity patients
• BLS certification required; NHISS needed prior to start; ACLS preferred
• NURSYS report for license verification
• Skills Checklist matching specialty

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Medical-Surgical unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures to ensure a safe and effective care environment.

Compliance / Notes:

• RTO must be included at time of submission.
• Traveler may be requested to float to partner facilities.
