Responsibilities Perform welding operations on various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements. Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings and safety measures are in place. Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding is a plus. Proven experience as a welder, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Welding certification is preferred but not required.
