Management Support Specialist

Job Title
This position involves a variety of duties focused on personnel actions, manpower management, and strategic planning.
Duties
The following responsibilities are part of this role:
- Establish and maintain internal procedures for submission, tracking and control of Requests for Personnel Actions (RPA).
- Conduct reviews of manpower allocations and utilization.
- Investigate and examine management principles being utilized; such as, planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling.
- Ensure organization's strategic planning assessment addresses key customer and organizational needs.
- Utilize quantitative and/or qualitative analysis techniques in evaluating manpower utilization, mission and functions, management controls, and work processes and procedures in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Analyze functions and convey concerns to management, such as organizational structure, position management, which cross organizational lines.
- Reviews, monitors, and manages budget allocations and advises leadership on the status of expenditures.
