Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a Certified Operating Room Open Heart (CTOR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a position located in Utica, New York. The role involves working in a specialized surgical unit, focusing on adult cardiac care procedures. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Utica, NY
• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, variability in shift times, with 40 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse; graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate's degree; ACLS and BLS certifications; 1 or more years of clinical experience in a relevant setting; ability to work in the specified location
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac surgery or open heart procedures; familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system and Omnicell technology; ability to float if census is low
• Additional Information: On-call up to 7 days per four-week schedule, including one full weekend; patient diagnoses include coronary artery disease (CAD), aortic stenosis (AS), and mitral regurgitation (MR)
