QA Automation Engineer

Salary: $150,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Tosca automation
• Experience with Selenium
• Java development experience
• Background in both manual QA testing and automation testing
• Ability to clearly explain automation design, testing approaches, and QA best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Tosca certifications such as AS1, AS2, and/or DI are preferred
• Experience working in large enterprise environments is preferred
• A bachelors degree is required for permanent conversion

• Design, build, and run automated test solutions using Tosca
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for enterprise applications
• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test strategies
• Partner with development, QA, and business teams to help ensure software quality
• Support functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Contribute to automation framework improvements and ongoing process enhancements

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong Tosca automation experience to join our growing enterprise technology team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an expected conversion timeline of approximately six months. The role supports enterprise-wide quality assurance initiatives, automation testing efforts, and test strategy development while helping improve our automation maturity. This is a hybrid position in Birmingham, Alabama, with an onsite schedule on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday. Local candidates are preferred, and relocation candidates may be considered if they can relocate within 4-6 weeks. Initial onsite presence is important to support knowledge transfer and training. We are looking for well-spoken, professional, direct, and technically strong automation engineers who can clearly explain their experience and demonstrate deep Tosca expertise.
