Proposal SpecialistWe have an exciting career opportunity for a Proposal Specialist to join our expanding DSI Tech team! As a Proposal Specialist, you have the chance to work with one of the most successful technology solutions providers in the country. You will collaborate with a team of professional proposal developers. You will be responsible for coordinating and creating winning proposals for our Government customers.This is a contract position. Candidates from outside USA will be considered.ResponsibilitiesLead the full lifecycle of proposal development, from opportunity analysis to final submission, in response to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather accurate, relevant content and ensure alignment with client needsTranslate complex technical concepts into accessible, benefits-driven language tailored to diverse audiencesEnsure all proposals meet internal quality standards and comply with legal, regulatory, and client-specific requirementsManage proposal timelines, content libraries, and version control using industry-standard toolsSupport contract development and assist in reviewing terms to ensure alignment with company policiesContinuously improve proposal processes, templates, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectivenessMaintain confidentiality of proprietary information and uphold data security standardsContribute to cross-functional initiatives that support business development and operational excellenceMaintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive and proprietary informationConsistently adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of conductFoster effective communication and collaboration with department heads, managers, colleagues, and customersCommunicate information clearly and concisely, presenting ideas and reporting facts in a professional mannerManage personal workflow efficiently, proactively resolving issues and seeking guidance from supervisors when necessaryPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support team and organizational goalsQualifications / Skills / KnowledgeBachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Technical Writing, or a related fieldMinimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience in proposal and/or technical writing, proposal writing, journalism, communications, business writing, or similar fields in order to write in a very persuasive mannerStrong understanding of the tech industry, including software development lifecycles, cloud services, or enterprise solutionsExceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.Experienced in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat to support formatting compliance.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
