An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students in a vibrant K-12 setting in the vicinity of Joliet, IL. This contract position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 24, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour workweek, providing a rewarding way to make a meaningful difference for learners across multiple grade levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current, valid Illinois licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working within school environments and familiarity with K-12 student needs
• Proficiency in providing OT services as part of an educational team
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
• Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services tailored to each student’s IEP
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to promote student independence, participation, and success
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear input and recommendations as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and legal standards
