Competitive compensation package Complete benefits package (medical, dental, vision) PTO + Company paid holidays Accelerated Career Growth Job Details Responsibilities: Representing individuals, business entities, and major credit grantors in complex commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract disputes, shareholder conflicts, business torts, and enforcement actions. Handling all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeals in state and federal courts. Providing strategic pre-litigation counseling and risk assessment to minimize exposure and resolve disputes efficiently. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating litigation-related documents, including demand letters, settlement agreements, and consent judgments. Expectations: 6+ yrs. commercial litigation experience Have a command of litigation and a proven track-record of managing matters independently (complaint through resolution); Be comfortable in the courtroom, at the podium, in depositions, and across the negotiating table; Understand the interplay between clients, opposing counsel, and the courts – with demonstrated strategic thinking across all forums, including state court, federal district court, and appellate court; Possess excellent organizational and time management skills; and Hold an active bar license in Illinois Interested in hearing more?
