Postdoctoral Scholar Pool - Mathematics Department

Position Description The Mathematics Department seeks to develop a pool of candidates for postdoctoral scholar positions in Mathematics and Mathematics Education. A post‑doc is a professional appointment designed to provide recent doctoral degree recipients with an opportunity to gain experiences and skills that will advance their careers. A post‑doc works under the supervision and sponsorship of a regular faculty member, who serves as a mentor and provides an orientation and development plan. The appointment involves a substantial full‑time commitment to research, scholarship, teaching, or other professional activities. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental/school need. Required Qualifications Recently awarded a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate. Preferred Qualifications N/A Application Procedures A current CV. Letter of interest outlining specific academic and professional experiences relevant for a post‑doc research appointment. Unofficial transcripts (all in one document). Statement of research interests. The selected candidate will be required to provide official transcripts from the highest degree‑granting institution.
