Mainframe QA Analyst - Financial Systems

Compensation & Location Location: Torrance, CA Pay Range: $52.00 — $59.00 per hour (based on experience and internal equity) Schedule: Full-time, contract; long-term opportunity Work Type: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 401k, Continuing and on-demand education Must be willing to work onsite in Torrance, CA (LA County) Sponsorship is available for this role Only W2 — No Corp to Corp — No 3rd Parties Position Overview We are seeking a Mainframe QA Analyst with experience in financial systems testing to support validation of upgrades to the Customer Account Servicing System (CASS) through the CAP release process. This role ensures system reliability, compliance, and performance through structured testing processes including script-based testing in Quality Center, batch validation, and Full File Production Parallel (FFPP) comparisons. The ideal candidate thrives in complex enterprise environments and brings experience testing mainframe batch and transactional systems. Key Responsibilities CAP Release Testing Analyze CAP bundles and classify RSECS (Enhancements, Regulatory, Corrections) Select appropriate testing approach (SCRIPT, FFPP, FFPP-possible) Define regression scope for impacted processes Test Planning & Execution Author and execute test scripts using Quality Center (QC/ALM) Validate batch and online components including calculations and interface impacts Perform Full File Production Parallel (FFPP) testing and reconcile output differences Compliance & Documentation Maintain audit-ready traceability between RSECS, scripts, defects, and approvals Support regulatory validation and release governance processes Coordinate business review for regulatory changes Defect Analysis Identify, log, and communicate defects Conduct root-cause analysis Partner with development and operations teams to improve batch stability Required Qualifications 3–5 years of Mainframe QA/testing experience Experience testing batch, online, and interface-based systems Experience with Quality Center / HP ALM test scripting Familiarity with mainframe job control and batch scheduling Experience in financial services systems (automotive finance preferred) Strong documentation and change control discipline Preferred Qualifications Experience working with CAP release processes Experience validating homegrown application modules Automotive finance system experience Big 4 consulting experience Enterprise-scale regulatory system testing experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Delta Computer Consulting
