ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Own and manage the restaurant’s P&L, including labor, sales, costs, and controllable expenses, with a focus on driving financial performance and achieving business goals.
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable the restaurant’s management team and front- and back-of-house employees, ensuring clear expectations, strong communication, and consistent execution of IDG standards.
• Oversee all staffing, hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and development for restaurant employees and management positions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and execute restaurant initiatives, service standards, and operational protocols in partnership with Ownership, Operations, and HR.
• Ensure company standards, policies, and procedures are consistently communicated, reinforced, and executed across all areas of the restaurant.
• Directly oversee the management team, including Restaurant Managers, and provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Investigate and resolve guest concerns and complaints, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and the guest experience remains a top priority.
• Oversee restaurant repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance to ensure the property is safe, functional, and operating at a high standard.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health, sanitation, liquor, safety, and employment regulations, consistently communicating and reinforcing required standards and procedures.
• Oversee financial and administrative responsibilities, including financial reporting, invoices, payroll, tip reporting, employee records, and other required documentation.
• Create and maintain a positive, professional, and inclusive work environment through strong communication, leadership, recognition, and accountability.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience as a General Manager in a high-end, high-volume restaurant environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing a restaurant P&L, including sales, labor, cost of goods, controllable expenses, and overall financial performance.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold accountable a restaurant management team and front- and back-of-house employees.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, staffing, scheduling, service standards, and performance management.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to remain calm, composed, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and guests.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with restaurant POS systems preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and perform the physical requirements of the position for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
