About the role
You will lead business and systems analysis for NYC DSS / HRA application maintenance and operations (M&O). Engagements are on-site in NYC.
About the work
M&O Services for DSS Application Systems covers analysis, design support, documentation, stakeholder facilitation, and delivery partnership with DSS/ITS on existing and evolving agency applications.
We are filling three related openings. Please indicate which track(s) you match. Opening C is the broadest BA fit; Openings A and B need exact specialty stacks.
Opening A - Senior Business Analyst
Ideal if you are a senior BA who is hands-on with modern Microsoft web stacks.
What you'll do
- Lead requirements, analysis, and delivery support on DSS application M&O workstreams
- Partner with developers and ITS on design, documentation, and sprint delivery
- Work across .NET / Angular application landscapes and related tooling
What you need (6+ years)
- Angular 8, ASP.NET Core, C#, Entity Framework Core, Microsoft SQL Server
- SOLID design practices
- AngularJS / Angular 8 / TypeScript / React exposure
- AWS plus CI/CD tooling (Octopus and/or Jenkins)
- JIRA
Opening B - Senior Business Analyst
Ideal if you are a Cúram specialist (do not apply unless you have the stack).
What you'll do
- Lead analysis and delivery support on Cúram-centered DSS application workstreams
- Bridge business requirements with Java/SOA middleware and data/reporting partners
What you need (6+ years)
- Cúram V7 Certified Developer; Cúram IEG2 / CERT
- Java, Struts, Spring, Ajax, SOA
- WebSphere / ESB
- Oracle; SQL / PL/SQL; UNIX shell
- Visio; dimensional modeling (star/snowflake)
- Informatica / Cognos / Business Objects / Attunity (or equivalent BI/ETL stack)
Opening C - Senior Business Analyst
Ideal if you are a senior BA/process analyst with modern tooling.
What you'll do
- Lead business and data analysis across DSS application M&O workstreams
- Facilitate requirements with stakeholders; document workflows and specs
- Partner with ITS on delivery, QA coordination, and tooling standards
What you need (4+ years)
- Extensive business and data analysis
- Microsoft technologies
- JIRA, Confluence, Balsamiq, Visio
- AWS
- QA and automation familiarity
