• Hourly Pay Rate: $48.24

What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care to patients in a busy Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, including cardiac strips (ACLS required)
• Support patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, altered mental status, DKA, and transplant history
• Perform and assist with procedures including IV starts, peripheral blood draws, wound care, and chest tubes (without titration)
• Collaborate with charge nurses, RTs, PTs, and physicians to coordinate patient care
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible state
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• 1+ year of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam

• Experience with transplant patients and ability to read cardiac strips
• Strong patient care skills and effective communication
