Payroll Specialist

Role Overview
Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist for an opportunity with a valued client. In this role, you’ll help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting payroll compliance and responding to employee questions.

Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule for hourly and salaried employees
- Review timekeeping records, pay changes, deductions, and employee data for accuracy
- Maintain payroll records and protect confidential employee information
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
- Support payroll tax filings, audits, and compliance with applicable regulations
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end processes

Qualifications
- Previous payroll processing experience
- Familiarity with payroll systems and timekeeping software
- Knowledge of payroll practices, tax requirements, and wage-and-hour regulations
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
