Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Straight nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge per unit needs. 48 hours billed at regular time.

Great opportunity to join a unique unit that focuses on adult medical/surgical patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and/or behavioral issues.

RN License (New York License ONLY)

2 years of medical-surgical experience

Recent experience in psychology required

Telemetry experience

Certifications: BLS (AHA ONLY)

Provide care to a varied patient population in a changing environment

Assist in the growth and development of the unit

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care

Support patients with both medical and psychiatric needs

Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to changes effectively

Eligible for dual-certification in both medical/surgical nursing and psychiatric nursing after experience requirements are met.
