About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP, Partnership Development to play a pivotal role in driving growth through the acquisition of new university and employer partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for lead cultivation, relationship building, and sales execution, with a focus on expanding the partner network. This role demands a dedicated professional with a proven track record in managing complex projects, achieving sales targets, and ensuring a seamless experience for potential partners. The SVP will be at the forefront of the company's mission to empower educational institutions, and as such, a high level of proficiency in negotiations, deal structuring, and strategic selling is essential. Applicants for the SVP, Partnership Development position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, with at least 3-5 years' in sales or partnership development, ideally within the higher education or edtech sector. A Master's degree, JD, or terminal degree is a plus. The role requires excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-based environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, results-oriented, and stay current on industry trends to effectively position the company's value proposition. Responsibilities also include leading cross-functional task forces, supporting executive leadership in strategic business development, and performing other duties as assigned.
