Chief Operating Officer

A growing Miami Healthcare group is hiring its first COO to run a three-location practice and integrate a second three-location company it is acquiring.

Both businesses run the same model, so this leader will standardize operations across six sites.

It reports directly to the two owners and sits above each practice's management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all locations of both companies, working through each practice's manager.
• Lead the operational integration of the acquired company: processes, systems, staffing and reporting.
• Build standard operating procedures so every location runs the same way and new sites can be added quickly.
• Set and track KPIs per location, including patient volume, revenue, costs, staffing and patient experience.
• Own budgets and P&L performance at the location and company level, reporting results to the owners.
• Hire, develop and manage location leadership; build a strong operations bench as the group grows.
• Manage vendors, facilities and operational technology across sites.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met at every location.
• Partner with the owners on growth strategy, including future acquisitions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing operations across multiple locations.
• Based in the Miami area and able to work on-site across locations.
• Strong financial skills: budgeting, P&L management and KPI reporting.
• Experience leading and developing managers.

Preferred:

• MBA or related advanced degree.
• Healthcare operations experience, ideally in a multi-site practice.
• Experience with acquisitions, integrations or scaling a growing business.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Compensation and benefits

Base salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year to start.
