Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating detailed treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs, which may include crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication management plans.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring that records are updated efficiently and accurately.

• Employing evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to evaluate clients effectively and collaborate with clinical teams to devise positive behavior support plans.

• Engaging actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the quality of care and services provided.
\n
• Establishing connections with service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance care coordination for our clients.

• Championing open communication among all stakeholders, thereby enhancing our clinic’s reputation and ensuring the promotion of the Mental Health Association’s mission within the community.

• Building and nurturing relationships with local, state, and federal organizations to expand our programs and identify potential partnerships and funding opportunities.

• Pursuing continued professional development by attending conferences and participating in relevant task forces and committees.

• Integrating the agency's mission, values, philosophy, and principles into everyday practice.

• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director that align with the role and organizational goals.

This role focuses on a heterogeneous client population from various backgrounds, including those struggling with mental health conditions, substance use challenges, developmental issues, and cognitive impairments. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health field.

• Possession of an independent LPCC license, or the willingness to obtain one promptly.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of one year of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in a mental health or counseling setting, particularly working with diverse populations, will be favored. Familiarity with community health resources and previous experience in crisis intervention will further enhance your candidacy.
