Phlebotomist Specialist-Patient service Center

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Austell, GA. Work Schedule: (Part Time) 25 hours weekly Mon‑Fri 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM with lunch 10:00–11:00 and rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program One year or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications Three years or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency if work experience is not available Proven track record of exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or in a team Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Work Setting Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and serving as the face of the company. Incentive Plan Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
