Phlebotomist Specialist - Client Office

Labcorp Phlebotomist – Internal Medicine Specialist Atlanta, GA Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with one hour lunch; Saturdays may be included. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program. At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications 5 or more years of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency if lacking work experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
